OAU Cut Off Mark

OAU Cut Off Marks 2025/2026 [UPDATED]

OAU cut off mark is important thing to know by all aspirant who has choosen the univeristy for admission. A cut-off mark is the minimum score a student must achieve to qualify for admission into a specific course or institution. It is usually set based on entrance exams like UTME or post-UTME. Each university or department may set different cut-off marks depending on demand and available slots.

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU) uses cut-off marks to screen candidates during admission. After the UTME and post-UTME, OAU combines scores to rank applicants. Each department sets its own cut-off mark based on the number of applicants and their performance. For example, competitive courses like Medicine or Law may have higher cut-off marks than less competitive ones.

Only candidates who meet or exceed the departmental cut-off are considered for admission. This helps the university select the most qualified students. It also ensures fairness, transparency, and efficient use of limited admission spaces.
