What is UNICAL Post-UTME?
UNICAL Post-UTME is the screening examination organized by University of Calabar for candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate courses. It tests students’ knowledge in their UTME subject combinations to determine their readiness for their chosen courses. The Post-UTME is part of the admission process and is mandatory for eligible candidates.
What is UNICAL Post-UTME Form?
UNICAL Post-UTME form is an online application form released by the university to invite candidates to register for their screening examination. The form allows candidates to input their JAMB and personal details, upload required documents, and pay the screening fee to participate in the admission screening exercise for the academic year.
ELIGIBILITY FOR UNICAL Post-UTME APPLICATION
The following categories of JAMB UTME candidates are eligible to apply:
- a. Candidates who selected the University of Calabar as their first choice in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME and choose any of the programmes listed in 10 below and scored a minimum of 150.
- b. Interested candidates who did not choose University of Calabar as their first choice but wish to study in the University of Calabar and scored a minimum of 150 in the 2025/2026 JAMB UTME.
- Candidates in 1(b) above, must do a Change of Institution to the University of Calabar via JAMB website (www.jamb.org.ng) and choose any of the programmes listed in 10 below.
UNICAL Post-UTME METHOD OF APPLICATION:
- Candidates are to make a Non-refundable payment of Two Thousand Naira ₦2,000.00 only only through the following options available:
- This option is available in all commercial banks nationwide. At the bank your are required to pay and obtain an E-transact PIN. With the PIN log into the portal http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link then follow the instructions on the portal after login.
Buy Post-UTME Pin Online option:
This option gives access to purchase Post-UTME pin from the portal. Click Buy Post-UTME Pin Online to purchase the Post-UTME pin online. Login with the TRANSACTION ID as the PIN into the portal.
On obtaining the printout from the bank or online, proceed as follows:
- LOG ON TO http://www.myunical.edu.ng and click on the UTME Admission Screening link
- On the home page, enter your correct JAMB Registration Number in the box provided
- Enter the confirmation order number or TRANSACTION ID in the box provided
- Click on login and follow the online instructions.
- Confirm your entries and CLICK ON SUBMIT
- Print out the completed form.
OPENING OF PORTAL For UNICAL Post-UTME REGISTRATION
Registration will start from Friday, July 18th, 2025 when the portal will open for that purpose.
Please note that the portal will however be shut down at 12.00 mid night on Monday August 04, 2025 (3weeks).
SPECIAL INSTRUCTION:
- Submit a valid email address and personal phone number in your Application.
- University of Calabar will not be responsible for any unsuccessful applications as a result of invalid email address(es) and telephone number(s).
- University of Calabar in compliance to the ‘CCMAS’ does not accept O’Level result at TWO SITTING for Medicine and Surgery as well as Dentistry & Dental Surgery.
DATE OF POST-UTME EXERCISE:
The date for the Post-UTME Screening Exercise would be made known upon completion of the application, on the PUTME Screening Schedule Printout.

- POST-UTME Screening Schedule Printout
- 2025/2026 JAMB UTME Result Slip
b. DO NOT bring the following items into the screening test hall:
- Mathematical tables
- Calculators
- Smart phones & Smart-watches
- Bags of any kind
All the items in 8(b) above will be confiscated, if brought into the screening hall. The University of Calabar will not be held liable for loss or seizure of any item brought into the examination venue by candidates.
DISQUALIFICATION OF CANDIDATES WHO MAKE FALSE DECLARATION OF UTME SCORES, ORDINARY LEVEL RESULT GRADES (WAEC, NECO OR NABTEB) AS WELL AS STATE OF ORIGIN SHALL NOT BE CONSIDERED FOR ADMISSION
