What is Lead City University Post-UTME?

Lead City University Post-UTME refers to the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination screening exercise conducted by Lead City University for candidates who selected the institution as their first choice during JAMB registration.

It is a compulsory step for admission consideration into undergraduate programmes. The exam is used to assess applicants beyond JAMB scores and includes questions based on UTME subjects.

The process may involve computer-based testing or online screening depending on the academic year. Candidates must meet the minimum JAMB cut-off mark and other eligibility requirements to be invited for the screening or to upload necessary documents.

What is Lead City University Post-UTME Form?

The Lead City University Post-UTME form is an online application form that qualified candidates must complete to participate in the university’s admission screening exercise. It becomes available on the official Lead City University portal after the university announces the commencement of its screening process.

The form requires applicants to provide personal details, academic records, and JAMB information, and to pay a non-refundable screening fee. Completing the form correctly is crucial for successful participation.

Eligibility criteria for Lead City University Post-UTME

  • The minimum entry requirement for admission into Lead City University is GCE O/L, SSCE, NECO, NABTEB or equivalent credit level pass in 5 subjects, including the English Language obtained not more than two sittings.
  • The alternative entrance requirement without UTME is the Direct Entry. Under these category holders of GCE ‘A’ Levels, IJMB, JUPEB, NCE, OND, University Diploma, or equivalent qualifications may proceed from Part II of the Bachelor’s degree program.
  • Conversion programmes (2years) for Holders of University degrees, HND, ACA, or with equivalent qualifications are also available.
  • Candidates who originally did not choose Lead City University in their UTME application can also be considered for admission.
  • Those that did not do the UTME are advised to apply to us for the IJMB/JUPEB pre-degree programmes. This does not require UTME scores. On successful completion of the programme, candidates can proceed to 200 Level via Direct Entry.
  • The IJMB /JUPEB certificates are recognized by JAMB for its Direct Entry admission into any Nigerian or foreign university.
