Candidates who selected DOU as their first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored a minimum of 150 are eligible to apply. UTME and Direct Entry candidates who did not initially choose the institution as their preferred choice but are interested in studying at the university are also welcome to apply after completing a change of institution through JAMB.

Eligibility Requirements for DOU Admission 2026/2027

To qualify for admission into Dennis Osadebay University, candidates must satisfy the following requirements:

  • Applicants must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, in SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB, or its equivalent. The results must not exceed two sittings.
  • Candidates must also meet all other admission conditions specified by Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board.
  • Direct Entry candidates with OND or HND qualifications must possess at least Lower Credit from recognized institutions.
  • Candidates applying through Direct Entry with NCE must have merit grades.
  • Applicants with JUPEB or IJMB qualifications must obtain a minimum of four (4) points from at least two relevant subjects.
