DUFUHS Post-UTME 2025: David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences (DUFUHS) has invited applications from eligible aspirants who have scored 150 or above in the just concluded JAMB UTME exam. It also invite direct entry students to register for admission into the university.

David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences is located in Uburu, Ebonyi State, and it is an Ultra-modern 21st century state of the art international University of Health Sciences located at Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State. The University has the approval of the National Universities Commission (NUC) to run seventeen (17) degree programmes in various faculties.

The university has changed its name from King David Umahi University of Medical Sciences(KDUMS) to David Umahi Federal University of Health Sciences following the official takeover of the institution by federal government.

What is DUFUHS Post-UTME?

DUFUHS Post-UTME is the screening examination organized by DUFUHS for candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate courses. It tests students’ knowledge in their UTME subject combinations to determine their readiness for their chosen courses. The Post-UTME is part of the admission process and is mandatory for eligible candidates.

What is DUFUHS Post-UTME Form?

DUFUHS Post-UTME form is an online application form released by the university to invite candidates to register for their screening examination. The form allows candidates to input their JAMB and personal details, upload required documents, and pay the screening fee to participate in the admission screening exercise for the academic year. Eligibility criteria for the DUFUHS Post-UTME 2025

  • To qualify for admission into any of the programmes, candidates MUST make the University their first choice in JAMB. Such candidates must possess at least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English and Mathematics in WAEC, NECO or its equivalents. He/she must have sat and obtained a minimum score of 150 in the 2025 JAMB.
  • Other qualified candidates who did not make the University their first choice but scored 150 and above in JAMB are further encouraged to do change of institution on JAMB Portal to make the University their first choice, and apply for admissions.
  • Candidates who did not write JAMB at all but wishes to study in the University can apply into the Interim Joint Matriculation Board (IJMB) programme of the University. The IJMB programme is for a period of one year, after which, the candidate can be admitted directly into 200 level without writing JAMB.
  • The University also accept students from other accredited universities who wishes to transfer from their current universities to our university. Such a student must have completed one academic session from his/her current university with evidence of JAMB admission letter and official academic transcript indicating that such a student is in good academic standing.

How to register and pay for the DUFUHS Post-UTME form

  • Candidates are required to visit application website: www.dufuhs.edu.ng or www.kdums.edu.ng.
  • Follow the procedure to obtain admission form after making a payment of ten thousand naira (₦10,000) only through the Remita payment platform.
  • Further information on how to obtain any of the admission forms including payments for inter-university transfer are available on the University websites: www.kdums.edu.ng.
