What is Eko UNIMED Post-UTME?
Eko UNIMED Post-UTME refers to the Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination screening exercise conducted by the Eko UNIMED for candidates who selected the institution as their first choice during JAMB registration.
It is a compulsory step for admission consideration into undergraduate programmes. The exam is used to assess applicants beyond JAMB scores and includes questions based on UTME subjects.
The process may involve computer-based testing or online screening depending on the academic year. Candidates must meet the minimum JAMB cut-off mark and other eligibility requirements to be invited for the screening or to upload necessary documents.
What is Eko UNIMED Post-UTME Form?
The Eko UNIMED Post-UTME form is an online application form that qualified candidates must complete to participate in the university’s admission screening exercise. It becomes available on the official Eko UNIMED portal after the university announces the commencement of its screening process.
The form requires applicants to provide personal details, academic records, and JAMB information, and to pay a non-refundable screening fee. Completing the form correctly is crucial for successful participation.
It also enables candidates to print acknowledgment slips, exam dates, and venues. Without filling this form, eligible applicants cannot be considered for admission into any undergraduate course at Eko UNIMED. See the list of the on-going post-UTME Registration.
UTME APPLICATION
All Candidates must have a minimum of five (5) credit passes in SSCE/GCE ‘O’ level through WAEC/NECO (or equivalent recognized by the University) in English language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics and at not more than two (2) sittings for Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences Candidates shall satisfy any additional criteria with respect to suitability including interview.
DIRECT ENTRY APPLICATION
Specific Requirement for MBBS Degree Programme:
- Graduates from Universities recognized by Eko UNIMED in Basic Medical Sciences, Nursing Sciences, Physiotherapy, Biological Sciences, Zoology (B.Sc. 2nd Class Lower Division) Or GCE A-level / HSC passes in Biology/Zoology, Chemistry and Physics/Mathematics, (Good A- level passes) Or JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examination Board) passes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics/Mathematics (Good A- level passes).
TRANSFER APPLICATION
Candidates with CGPA 3.0 and above can proceed to apply. Printed copies of Transcript result will be required for verification before application can be further considered.
