JABU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Complete guide

JABU Post-UTME/DE 2025: Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into undergraduate degree programmes on a full-time basis in the following Colleges and Departments of the University for 2025/2026 session.

This is to inform everyone that the screening exercise for 2025/2026 admission into Joseph Ayo Babalola University will be conducted on Monday, 18th August and Tuesday, 19th August 2025 at the University Auditorium from 9.00 a.m. each day.

Please note that candidates are expected to come with their credentials. In addition, candidates can come on any of the days mentioned above.

What is JABU Post-UTME?

JABU Post-UTME is the screening examination organized by Joseph Ayo Babalola University for candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate courses. It tests students’ knowledge in their UTME subject combinations to determine their readiness for their chosen courses. The Post-UTME is part of the admission process and is mandatory for eligible candidates.

What is JABU Post-UTME Form?

JABU Post-UTME form is an online application form released by the university to invite candidates to register for their screening examination. The form allows candidates to input their JAMB and personal details, upload required documents, and pay the screening fee to participate in the admission screening exercise for the academic year.

GENERAL ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS: UTME ADMISSION

Candidates wishing to apply for admission into the University must possess GCE, O/L, SSCE (WAEC), NECO, NABTEB or equivalent with minimum credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at one or two sittings. Interested candidates who have already applied to JAMB for admission and wish to change their first choice University to Joseph Ayo Babalola University are required to:

  • a)Apply for a change of institution through JAMB;
  • b)Obtain Joseph Ayo Babalola University Application Form;
  • c)Participate in the screening exercise.

“Awaiting result” candidates can also apply provided their results will be available by September of the year in which admission is required.

JABU Post UTME Screening

JABU post-UTME screening offers candidates who made Joseph Ayo Babalola University (JABU) their institution of first choice and scored 150 and above in their UTME exams to be informed about dates for their screenings. Screening exercises will commence at 9:00 am and will be held at these locations:

  • Lagos Office – 50, Ikorodu Road, Fadeyi Bus Stop, Lagos State.
  • Abuja Office – Christ Apostolic Church, FCC DCC Headquarters, Stadium/Games Village, Round About before VIO Office, Area 1, Abuja.
  • Port Harcourt Office – Christ Apostolic Church, 25 Umuduru Street, Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt.
  • Oba Olashore Auditorium, JABU Main Campus – Km 22, Akure Ilesha Express Way, Ikeji Arakeji, Osun State.

Candidates are advised to report all necessary documents to the JABU screening office nearest to them for the screening exercise and should also ensure to observe all stipulated protocols.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

  • 1. Visit the online application portal: https://portal.jabu.edu.ng/
  • 2. Click the ‘Fill Admission Form’ tab to navigate the application form.
  • 3. Create a student account by completing the form with your details and hitting the ‘Create Account’ button on completion. Please note that you need a valid email address to activate your account.
  • 4. Activate your student account by checking your email inbox (or spam folder) and clicking on the link in your email.
  • 5. Log in to the online e-portal with your student login details.
  • 6. Complete your biodata and upload all required documents. Please note that all required documents must be uploaded in JPEG format.
  • 7. Check your email for a response from the Admissions Officer and further instructions on the screening date.
