How to Apply

  • The scholarship application can only be submitted online between June 25th and September 30th. During the application process, you’ll need to upload some documents.
  • Access the student-only area on the DGES website , enter your credentials (username and password), and submit your application.
  • If you have any questions, please consult the candidate guide and frequently asked questions . You can also view application results in the reserved area.
  • If you already applied for a scholarship in a previous year,
  • use the same credentials you used in previous years. If you don’t remember them, you can recover your username and/or password on the DGES portal .
  • If you applied to higher education this year
  • If you stated in your higher education application that you wanted to apply for a scholarship, use the link that was sent to you by email in the application receipt notification.
  • If the link does not work or you have not received the credentials to apply for the scholarship, you can obtain the credentials by entering your details on the DGES portal .
  • If you are unable to obtain your credentials using any of these methods, contact the Social Action Services (SAS) or Social Action Office at your higher education institution and request your username and password. You will need to present your Citizen Card.
  • Before submitting your application, you can use the DGES Simulator to find out how much you could receive if you are awarded a scholarship.
