What is SMU Post-UTME?
SMU Post-UTME is the screening examination organized by SMU for candidates seeking admission into various undergraduate courses. It tests students’ knowledge in their UTME subject combinations to determine their readiness for their chosen courses. The Post-UTME is part of the admission process and is mandatory for eligible candidates.
What is SMU Post-UTME Form?
SMU Post-UTME form is an online application form released by the university to invite candidates to register for their screening examination. The form allows candidates to input their JAMB and personal details, upload required documents, and pay the screening fee to participate in the admission screening exercise for the academic year. Eligibility criteria for Sam Maris University post-UTME

Instructions before registration
- UTME candidates who made SMU their FIRST Choice of Institution and scored 150 and above in the 2025 UTME are eligible for the 2025/2026 POST UTME Screening Exercise. However, candidates who did not choose Sam Maris University, Supare – Akoko as their first choice of Institution should visit the JAMB portal to make Sam Maris University, Supare – Akoko their FIRST choice of Institution on the JAMB CAPS.
- Direct Entry candidates should also choose SMU as their First Choice before registering.
- Candidates must possess five (5) ‘0’ Level credit passes in relevant subjects including Mathematics and English Language at not more than two (2) sittings. However, some programmes may also have specific requirements. Please visit the University website for more details.
- A valid email address is required to sign up for the activation token. If you don’t have a valid email address or can’t remember the password to your email account, please create a new one with either GMail or Yahoo for FREE!
- After Sign Up, an activation link will be sent to the supplied email address. You may be required to log in to your email account and activate your account before you can proceed. Please check your SPAM folder if you do not receive the confirmation email in your Inbox. UNACTIVATED ACCOUNTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY DELETED AFTER 48 HOURS!
- Check and fill out your information meticulously and correctly in the subsequent forms presented and submit as appropriate. You will be required to upload a passport photograph image of yourself which should not be more than 100 Kilobyte (Kb) in size. NOTE: You cannot change the uploaded passport photograph throughout your stay in the University.
- You are liable for any incorrect or incomplete information submitted during the registration.
